    The vase in classical baluster form with everted egg-and-dart rim, nautical motifs in repoussé to neck including anchor, cask, oars, and ropes, scrolled handles with rosettes, double-swan heads to each joint, reserve to front depicting a seated Neptune pulled by horses and accompanied by woman and putti, below to Greek key border, raised on conical vase with palmettes in relief.

    This piece was likely manufactured as a naval/nautical presentation trophy.

    Condition Report*: Minor scattered pin dents, light waviness inherent to manufacture, some nicking and scratching, presenting well with wear commensurate with age, polishing, and use.
