The hand-hammered vase on footed base with undulating rim to border, everted undulating upper rim, with repoussé daffodil decoration.

Production of vase 1838 began on March 29, 1899 and required 38 hours to produce, plus an additional 34 hours of chasing. The final price was $152.00. The corresponding pieces from this series,1836, 1837 and 1839, were made for the Paris Exposition of 1900.
