    15 inches high x 13-3/4 inches diameter, at base (38.1 x 34.9 cm)
    137.81 troy ounces

    The centerpiece surmounted by bowl with floral garlands and bouquets in repoussé, gilt and lobed interior, three scrolled acanthus leaf handles, standard with three conforming acanthus and stem flourishes, base with nine applied six-pointed flower-heads, outer rim to base with nine rams' heads mounted to shields, raised on three figural paw feet interspersed among foliate swags; presentation inscription to base deck: A TESTIMONIAL from the BROADWAY BANK to WALTER BOWNE PALMER in appreciation of his efficient services for the past thirteen years in that institution. And in token of the personal esteem of its board of directors. New-York. May 2nd 1863




    Condition Report*: One foliate swag to base deck with apparent push, one foot slightly bent and piece almost sits entirely flush on even surface, minor rubbing, presenting well with wear and surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing, and use.
