PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE SOUTHERN COLLECTION
The narrow, hand hammered coffee pot with ribbed lid and body, repoussé acanthus decoration, elegant S-scroll spout and handle and raised on a domed, spreading foot with conforming motif, monogrammed JC to underside. Retailed by Spaulding & Co., Chicago, Illinois.

Production of coffee pot 9995 began on July 23rd, 1898 and required 50 hours to produce, plus an additional 45 hours of chasing. The final price was $112.00.
