    The service comprising coffee pot, teapot, sugar, creamer and wastebowl, each with conforming grape and vine repoussé decoration, stylized branch handles, spouts, and collars, each dated April 25th, 1851 to obverse, reverses engraved CEC Nov 1st 1909. Retailed by J & I Cox, New York, New York.

    Note: Pieces display later period plaques soldered to cartouches which cover previous engravings. Coffee pot bears marks for Charters, Cann & Dunn, other pieces bearing marks for John Chandler Moore, each retailed by J & I Cox.

    Condition Report*: Later period applied plaques covering previous engravings, handle to teapot slightly loose, dent and waviness to cartouche to coffee pot, dent to coffee pot, sugar missing lid, push to creamer standard, very minor pin denting to some vessels, light warping to flanges to lid interiors, with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing and use.
