Description
Ferdinando Vichi (Italian, 1875-1945)Lovers
White marble
22-1/2 inches (57.2 cm) high on a 2 inch (5.1 cm) white marble socle on a 47-3/4 inch (121.3 cm) high green marble pedestal
Incised on base: F. Vichi, FIRENZE
Pedestal is in the form of a Corinthian column with bronze-plated acanthus leaves. Column sits on a square-footed base, with flat marble platform at the top on which the sculpture and socle rest.

Condition Report*:
Dust accumulation in the recesses. A few scattered spots of rust discoloration. Some scattered pinpoints of dark accretion.
Adhesive residue on top of socle, not visible when sculpture is mounted.
A very few small chips to pedestal. Slight tarnishing on some areas of bronze plating. Small repair to the ring below acanthus leaves. Slight verdigris to the bronze plating, particularly to the recesses.
Total height measures 72 1/4 inches (183.5 cm).
