Anthony Manal Castro (b. 1963 in Romblon, Philippines, grew up in San Jose, California ) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY He received his BFA/Painting at San Jose State University and MFA /Painting at the Claremont Graduate University. Not certain if he would remain in Los Angeles, an opportunity arose to travel to Prague, CZ and just "hang out" for the summer. That summer eventually turned into a year stint of hustling murals for dance clubs, and producing art out of his flat while getting immersed in the contemporary Czech culture before landing in the East Village. That period was pivotal for his future commercial work creating art and design for interior, retail and hospitality environments that continues today. Always inspired by the psychological, sociological and physical spaces of the city, Castro has in recent years devoted himself to exploring a personal visual language through his art by producing various permutations of patterns and complex abstractions that drifts between the present, the future and the past.

Proceeds from this auction will go to God's Love We Deliver
God's Love We Deliver cooks and home-delivers nutritious, medically tailored meals for people too sick to shop or cook for themselves. To support the health of our clients, we also provide ongoing nutrition assessment, education, and counseling. God's Love is a non-sectarian organization serving people in need and their children and caregivers. All of our services are provided free to clients and full of love.

About God's Love We Deliver CowParade 2021:
God's Love We Deliver is excited to be working with CowParade as its exclusive charity partner, to bring the cows back to New York City after 20 years. Fifty life-size fiberglass cows will be painted, adorned and magically transformed by an eclectic group of artists and designers.

Each cow will be sponsored by businesses and individuals all to benefit the work of God's Love We Deliver. The cows will be on display throughout the city's boroughs this summer.
