The gilt bronze figure of a woman, La Liseuse, or the Reader, in Renaissance dress reading, carved ivory to face and hands, on a circular footed bronze base.

Condition Report*: With scratches and hairline fractures to face and discoloration and nicks to one hand from repair. Surface scratches and minor loss to gilding commensurate with age to bronze.
