    This painting comes with a wonderful inscribed post card from Robert and Tula Wood:

    My Dear Mr. Jacobs,
    Your blue bonnet painting goes out today (April 24th, '44) prepaid parcel post. It was painted with loving remembrance of the beauty and charm of Texas in the springtime. We trust it will fill a beauty need in the Lone Star State, in a happy home.
