    An English-born artist who came to the United States in 1910, Robert Wood has remained one of the most celebrated Texas artists of the 20th-century. Establishing studios first in Corpus Christi and then in San Antonio, he created drawings and paintings of Texas landscapes. Robert Wood is renowned for his landscape paintings of Southwestern scenes.
