The present work is published as the cover of The Flesh Was Cold by Bruno Fischer (Signet, 1957) and later appears on the cover of British paperback Dressed to Kill by Peter Cheyney (Four Square/New English Library,1962). Both are classic hard-boiled crime pulp fiction, telling the stories of detectives Paul Flagg, and Rufus Gaunt, respectively. This is classic Robert Maguire, and is accompanied by a print out of the cover.
