Digit Books Collection of British Pulp and Paperback Art

Digit Books, an imprint of the British publishing house Brown, Watson Ltd, first appeared in 1956. Over its 11-year history, it produced some of the most popular and highly collectible British paperbacks. Building on Brown, Watson's post-WWII run of pulp fiction titles, the imprint published 900 books across a range of genres, including crime fiction, science fiction, American Westerns, lurid romance, and more. Many of the original covers from Digit's run, as well as other Brown, Watson originals, have-until now-remained in the Digit Books Collection of British Pulp and Paperback Art.

The present work is published as the cover of The Eagle and the Dove by Dorothy Quentin (Digit, 1963).
