PROPERTY OF THE ESTATE OF ANCEL E. NUNN

Ancel Nunn trained under Texas artist Alexander Hogue and Dong Kingman. Naturally, Nunn's style is routed in regionalism with surrealist elements. Often the artist plays with perspective and everyday objects to create interest and to draw the viewer in while evoking a stillness, snapshot effect. This playful and modernist approach reflects Ancel Nunn's nostalgic and powerful interpretation of life's paradoxes. The artist work is often a perfect blend of hyper-realism, surrealist perspective, and regionalist narrative scenes.

Heritage Auctions is honored to be offering these examples from the Ancel Nunn estate. Lovingly held by the artist's wife as favorites of the artist.
