Condition Report*:
Likely a 19th-century impression on Van Gelder Zonen laid paper, with Strasbourg Lily watermark and script 'VGZ' countermark (1696 and after). High contrasts. Very good condition. Quarter inch margin all around except for half inch margin at bottom. On the reverse is evidence of a water stain occupying the left side of the print, with a faint tidemark, not appearing to affect the recto. A small tear at lower edge, not visible when mat is closed. Tape remnants on verso of lower edge. Sheet is hinged along upper edge of verso to window mat measuring 24-1/4 x 20-1/4 inches. This lot is offered unframed.
