Condition Report*:
From a complete series of 18 progressive proofs. Rare proof. Inscription along lower edge states"épreuve du plateau pour le ler passage ton sur tone, 2me Etat" which translates to "proof of the stage for the first passage tone on tone, 2nd state."
Puncture with loss at center right of the image; heavy 3" vertical crease to the upper left in the image with skinning; scattered vertical scratches to the image; moderate light and time staining verso; skinning to the edges verso, with adhesive staining. Hinged along upper edge, matted and framed under acrylic.
