Condition Report*:
A lovely impression of a waterfall, one of Hokusai’s most well know subjects. Print presents well with some mild toning and minor fading to some colors, primarily the yellows and greens. A few minor, scattered spots of foxing, primarily evident in lighter inked areas or on verso. Minor handling dents with some minor buckling to the sheet; a horizontal center fold line. A few minor accretions along the edges and along center fold line, likely due in part to handling. Minor liquid staining along the right edge; tidelines extend about ¼" on average into the image area. Some areas of stabilization verso. Minor skinning to the verso upper corners of the sheet, likely due to previous hinging/mounting. Unframed. No major tears or losses observed.
