Actor/comedian/author/playwright/musician/composer/producer Steve Martin has truly done it all. From his beginnings behind the scenes as a comedy writer on TV variety shows, he has become one of the most famous and versatile entertainers in show business.

Martin has performed in dozens of movies, live stand-up and sketch comedy shows, and turned his attention to playwriting in 1993 with the premiere of Picasso at the Lapin Agile. The play was first produced at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago before making runs in Los Angeles and New York. He made his Broadway writing debut with 2016's Bright Star, which earned him two Tony nominations for book and music, and followed that with 2017's Meteor Shower.

This sketch by legendary artist Al Hirschfeld features Martin at his typewriter. It was first published in The New York Times on Sunday, October 22, 1995.

This giclée, part of an extremely limited edition, is printed on 15" x 18" hot press paper and has been generously autographed by Mr. Martin. The edition is numbered, includes the official Hirschfeld Foundation embossed seal and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity directly from the Al Hirschfeld Foundation.
