Billy Joel is one the bestselling singer/songwriters and composers of all time. He has won five Grammy Awards and has released 13 studio albums since his first, Cold Spring Harbor, in 1971. Joel has written and recorded such hit tunes as "Uptown Girl," "Just the Way You Are," "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me," "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant," and, of course, "Piano Man," the song that gave him his nickname.

In 2002, nearly 30 of his songs were compiled into the jukebox musical Movin' Out, which played at the Richard Rodgers Theatre for 1,303 performances. The show was conceived and choreographed by Twyla Tharp and, unlike a traditional musical, was primarily a dance performance. All of the songs were performed by the show's band, led by the "Piano Man," and the story was told through movement. Movin' Out was nominated for 10 Tony Awards and won two - Best Choreography for Tharp and Joel took home the Tony for Best Orchestration.

This sketch by legendary artist Al Hirschfeld features Joel with the Gershwin brothers, George and Ira. It was a privately commissioned piece that has never been published. The sketch was drawn in 1996.

This giclée, part of an extremely limited edition, is printed on 15" x 18" hot press paper and has been generously autographed by Joel.

The edition is numbered, includes the official Hirschfeld Foundation embossed seal and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity directly from the Al Hirschfeld Foundation.
Proceeds to Benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Al Hirschfeld Foundation.
