A Sican/Lambayeque Bridge Spout Vessel
Peru, c. 750 - 1350 AD

Hollow earthenware burnished to a high gloss. A footed and carinated vessel with a rodent head on one side, a bridge handle, and a pointed conical spout. In good condition, tip of spout chipped, section of spout broken and glued back on, chips all around foot, upper section with numerous pitted areas.
