A Large Colima Seated Shaman
c. 250 BC - 250 AD

Hollow earthenware with burnished red and brown slips. Seated with hands to knees, wearing three large shell pendants, a breech cloth and belt tied at the back indicated by grooves and engraving, spout at crown of head. In apparently very good, intact condition, no visible repairs or restoration.
