    "Although it does need a bit of cleaning, it's a lovely painting and a truly striking instance of Albers' interaction of color thesis. It's amazing how warm that gray becomes against the white!", quote from the Albers Foundation A small area of inpaint in lower right quadrant; surface soiling at the extreme lower right corner above the initial and date; very faint surface soiling, framed
