It's hard to imagine someone better equipped to capture the allure, magnetism, and style of Courtney Love than the groundbreaking pin-up artist Olivia. Depicting the star as a fallen angel holding a guitar rendered in the pink line work originally made famous by George Petty, Olivia shows Love as a figure who is at once classic, modern, and otherworldly. Embodying the fearless authenticity of the often controversial star for the back cover of her 2004 album America's Sweetheart, this work showcases Olivia's incredible ability to combine pin-up art and portraiture.

The present work appears on pages 142-143 in Malibu Cheesecake: The Pinup Art of Olivia (Ozone, 2011) and is accompanied by a Courtney Love America's Sweetheart poster.
