Jack Cole's mesmerizing cartoons for Playboy were among the first runaway hits for the magazine to make their way into general culture. By the time World Traveler was published in the April 1956 issue, the "Females by Coles" series was already one of Playboy's signature offerings.

These images were so popular that cocktail napkins and glasses based on them became some of Playboy's first licensed commercial products. The 12 ounce cocktail glass featuring this image remains collectible to this day.
