    Portfolio of five photogravures, printed by Jon Goodman in 1999
    20-1/2 x 17 inches (52.1 x 43.2 cm)
    Editioned '14/500' in ink on copyright page.

    This portfolio comes in a cloth-covered clamshell case featuring text, letterpressed by hand, written and signed by Kevin Eugene Smith, son of the late photographer.

    Includes:
    Dr. Ceriani Taking a Short Cut from House to Hospital, from 'Country Doctor,' 1948; Watching Construction of General Hospital in Lambaréné, West Gabon, from 'Schweitzer: A Man of Mercy,' 1954; Welsh Miners, from 'Great Britain,' 1950; The Wake, Women Gather to Mourn an Old Man's Death, from 'Spanish Village,' 1950; The Walk to Paradise Garden, 1946.
