FROM THE PROPERTY OF THE BELO COLLECTION Ted Kincaid, a local Dallas photographer, experiments with development techniques and digital manipulation to create inventive images, particularly of clouds, skyscapes, and seascapes. According to Kincaid, these digital alterations question the accuracy of photographs. Kincaid received his BFA from Texas Tech University and his MFA from the University of Kentucky at Lexington. His work has been exhibited at The McKinney Avenue Contemporary, the Meadows Museum of Art, and the Dallas Center for Contemporary Art, and is included in the permanent collections of the Dallas Museum of Art, the American Airlines Corporate Collection, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
