Collection of Dr. Steven L. Smith
Dr. Steven L. Smith is a Professor of Social Work in Michigan. His personal work includes social documentary photography and he has photographed disasters in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, Haiti following the earthquakes in 2010, and more recently in Puerto Rico, the US/Mexican border and the aftermath of the forest fires in the western US. He studied with George Tice, Jerry Uelsmann, Joyce Tenneson, Mary Ellen Mark and Andre Lambertson. He has collected an array of photography over the past 35 years with particular interests in unique and surreal work, along with alternative processes and more recently, color photography. This is the second of two auctions which encompasses the bulk of his collection.

Condition Report*:
Overall excellent condition with no visible defects. Sheet is dry mounted to board. Window mat measures 24 by 28 inches. Not framed.
