    400 full-page duotone reproductions of photographs selected and edited by June Newton
    28 x 20 x 4 inches (71.1 x 50.8 x 10.2 cm)
    Signed in blue conté crayon and numbered '03300' on limitation page. Elephant folio, 464 pages. This book is number 3,300 from the edition of 10,000.

    This lot includes the original chrome stand designed by Philippe Starck. This extremely large and lavish volume, weighing in at over 66 pounds, is -- according to Taschen -- 'the biggest and most expensive book production of the 20th century.' A landmark in the field of photography, presenting Newton's often controversial fashion, celebrity, and nude portrait work.

    Condition Report*: In overall very good condition. There is a crease along the length of the dust jacket about 1 1/2 inches in from the left edge. 1/2 inch tear in the center of the top edge of the dust jacket and with scattered light scuffs and creases throughout. Cover with slightly scuffed.
