    c. 1886

Hardesty, San Antonio, Texas; but on a tan mount of the Llano, Texas, photographers Leach & Hanna. They were housed in a tent encampment in the secure, stone Quadrangle of the fort. Geronimo's lieutenant Naiche, called Natchez, is the man at right. An alternate view of this group, made within five minutes from the same camera position, is in the Fort Sam Houston Museum collection, on the mount of F. Hardesty.
