Eighteen on mounts with printed Leuzinger's credit and address. Four with Leuzinger's blindstamp on mount. Fourteen inscribed in the negative. Seventeen with English inscriptions in ink on mount.

Views include Petropolis, Tejuca, Corcovado, Serra dos Órgãos, and Pedra Bonita.

George Leuzinger, a Swiss photographer and lithographer based in Brazil, played a crucial role in chronicling Brazil's advancement and cultural diversity, capturing urban scenes, architectural wonders, scenic panoramas, and individual portraits that left a lasting impact on South American photographic history. His photographs include some of the earliest depictions of his adopted hometown of Rio and its provinces.

Condition Report*: In overall very good condition with mostly rich tones. Edges of mounts age-darkened and chips to corners. A few photographs with slight age-lightening to the edges. A few with retouching spots visible in racking light. View of Street - Petropolis with staining to the lower edge. Number stickers affixed to the mounts. Mounts measure 12-7/8 x 16-5/8 inches. Not framed.
