    Mother and Child, Hiroshima, 1945
    Gelatin silver
    10-5/8 x 13-3/8 inches (27.0 x 34.0 cm)
    Signed, titled, and dated in ink and with photograph's stamp on verso.

    Taken five months after the atomic bomb, early prints of this image are rare.

    Condition Report*: Diagonal bends across both lower corners, mild corner and edge chips, scattered light surface scratches in ferrotype finish, otherwise, this print is in very good condition. Does not appear to fluoresce under blacklight. Matted to an overall size of 20 x 16 inches.
