    Each gravure is accompanied by a vellum title page printed with the following: 'Dust-grain copper plate was made by Jon Goodman, plate was made from an original print provided by Edward Steichen. Gravure print was hand-pulled by Jon Goodman at the Photogravure Workshop, Hadley, Massachusetts; one of seven images in the portfolio 'Edward Steichen : The Early Years 1900-1927', edition of 500 with 50 artist's proofs, The making of the original edition of the twelve-print portfolio was authorized by Edward Steichen during his lifetime, and this single print is part of the original edition of 1,000 numbered copies.'

    Condition Report*: In order as listed are the following image sizes: 12-1/2 x 9-3/4 inches, 10-1/4 x 8 inches, 6-1/2 x 8-1/4 inches, 12-3/4 x 10-1/8 inches; unmounted; each paper size measures 20-1/4 x 16-1/4 inches; not framed; all works remain in excellent condition.
