    A. Leibovitz, Photographs: Annie Leibovitz 1970-1990, Milan, 1991, pp. 114-115, (another example).

Influenced by the Double Fantasy album cover, Annie Leibovitz was able to capture this intimate moment in John and Yoko's apartment. Another example of this photograph was used on the cover of January 1981 Rolling Stone magazine to commemorate the former Beatle. This image was taken on the morning of December 8th, 1980 at The Dakota, tragically the same day Lennon was shot.
