This lot is accompanied by a letter from Mr. Arnold regarding the origin and history of the photograph.
About 20 years ago / my ex wife Roseanne and / I were doing a photo shoot for / Vanity Fair magazine with / Annie Leibovitz. Our publicist / was concerned Annie would / ask us to pose in a baffoonish / way, even more baffoonish than we / already were. but at the end of / a long day in Malibu CA Annie / said "That's a wrap" and our / publicist went to make a call. / Annie says "Hey, I've got an idea. / Do you guys like wrestling?" / Cut to 5 minutes later we are / covered in mud and my publicist / was horrified. We liked it though / and these pictures were not only in the / magazine but copied on postcards and / Annies books. Annie gave me the original / and I can't really display it can / I? Enjoy. Love, / Tom Arnold
