This fine point was knapped from Crowley's Ridge flint with expert craftsmanship and is well fluted on both sides, with good mineralization and excellent basal grinding. From the ex-Leo Paul Davis Collection, it comes with certificate of authenticity and measures 2⅞ x 1¼. The Paleo-Indian Clovis people are generally regarded as the first human inhabitants of the Americas, crossing the land bridge over what is now the Bering Strait, probably some time before 13,000 B.P.
