    Bill Schenck artwork is in contrast to traditional western art. Schenck turns climatic scenes into static moments by reducing figures and landscapes into two dimensional planes of line, color, and pattern. The artist relies on his bold color palette to keeps interest high while subduing the dynamic nature of the scenes.

    Condition Report*: Unlined canvas; unframed; a few dark scuffs to the edges of the work; surface soiling along the upper edge of the canvas; two yellow accretions, possibly paint loss, to the lower right quadrant; under UV examination there do not appear to be any signs of in-paint or restoration; overall, the work presents well.
