The cane with chased gilt metal handle above ivory overlay carved with a deer's head and cartouche to front, engraved W, chased gilt metal collar, malacca wood shaft, metal ferrule and tip. The second cane with chased gilt metal knob, WW monogram to top, ebonized wood shaft and rubber tip to end.

Included is a framed trademark from William A. Wells Fine Shoes and a Wells family portrait with William Wells holding the ivory and gilt metal cane.
