Condition Report*:
Lined canvas. Some yellowing to the varnish layer and finely patterned craquelure throughout. A few scattered minor surface abrasions and small dots of retouched loss. Mild surface dirt and dust, most apparent near edges. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Brushy retouching in lower right corner, affecting some parts of the signature, which appears to have been partially strengthened, and with a few additional scattered dots and dashes of retouching in the sky area.
