SWISS RAILWAYS BE 6/8 II CROCODILE BY FINE ART MODELS
Locomotive: 7 x 24 x 4 inches (17.8 x 61.0 x 10.2 cm)
Superbly built and presented 1.32 scale gauge 1 electric model of a BB (Swiss Federal Railways) distinctive electric freight locomotive designed for use on Alpine lines between Italy and Switzerland in the 1920's. A fully authentic and exceptionally detailed model inside and out, finished in livery derived from actual SBB paint samples. Powered by dual Pittman 19-volt motors, the model features a sound system replicating air brakes, compressor and whistle. Presented in FAM display case with 'run in place' mechanism, complete with catenary towers and wires, from which this model can actually pull power. A highly impressive scale replica of this famous locomotive.
