SCALE MODEL OF USS 'WASHINGTON'
Built in 1813, the USS 'Washington' was a ship-of-the-line of the United States Navy serving in the Mediterranean as the flagship of the American squadron. She established a respected American presence amongst the Barbary states in both commerce and diplomacy. This model, in 1/4 scale, is by well-known artist William Hitchcock .
Presented in glass case on low, mahogany table base.
