Pablo Luna (1969-2022) was a Los Angeles-based artist whose life and work reflected a deep dedication to visual expression. After spending part of his early childhood in Mexico, Luna returned to the U.S. and began painting with intent in the early 1980s. His early experiments evolved into a mature fine-art practice around 2000, and over the course of his career he produced more than 2,000 works. Influenced by the colors and forms of mid-20th-century Mexican art, Luna developed a distinct and personal style that fused cultural roots with contemporary vision. Following his studies at Crenshaw Christian Center, he transitioned from graffiti to traditional media, becoming a full-time artist. For more than 15 years, his paintings earned the admiration of collectors and peers who valued his authenticity, discipline, and evolving artistry.
