    Traveling by Steamboat is listed in the addenda files of the Norman Rockwell Museum. According to the Museum, this work is possibly a study for either The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn or The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

    Condition Report*: Unlined canvas; light surface grime visible in sky; minor frame accretion at center right bottom extreme edge, with light paint craquelure along all four extreme edges; several spots of minor craquelure in negative space, slightly raised and visible in natural light; under UV exam, there appear to be several spots of minor crack-fill inpainting in negative space; framed under glass.
