    NORMAN ROCKWELL (American 1894 - 1978)
    New England Church, Franklin Mint plate illustration study, with two signed letters
    Graphite on paper
    Image area: 7in. diameter; overall paper size: 11 x 8-1/2in.
    Not signed

    An undated, hand written, signed letter from Norman Rockwell to Donald Walton reads, "Dear Don -- These are obviously very rough, but I thought I should send them to you to see if I'm on the right track. Cordially, Norman." A second typed, signed letter dated June 6, 1972 reads, "Dear Don: I am sending along to you the invoice for the "New England Church. It was good to hear from you this morning. Cordially, Norman."
