Condition Report*: Glue lined canvas. A few faint hairlines of craquelure visible under close inspection. Minor abrasions along the extreme edges of the canvas, not visible in current framing. There is thinness to the paint layer throughout the composition, possibly the result of previous restoration or cleaning. Under UV exam, 2 inch diagonal line of inpaint in the kneeling figure's hat. 7-inch area of broad retouching in the foreground at lower left.
