    PROVENANCE:
    Martin Lawrence Galleries (label on the reverse);
    Private collection, Texas

    Condition Report*: Larger canvas:  slightly uneven varnish application (noticeable in black background); minor accretions in figure's chest and right arm and in lower left and right corners; possible slight abrasion on figure's right shoulder and 1" scratch in blue background of lower left corner; slight paint thinning along canvas edges; otherwise good condition; unframed; Smaller canvas:  minor accretions in yellow ground and streaking (possibly varnish) in lower left corner; otherwise good condition.
