We wish to thank Claudine Dyf for kindly confirming the authenticity of this painting, which is registered in the Marcel Dyf archives under no. 5123. Mrs. Dyf points out that the painting depicts the village of Bois-d'Arcy in the arrondissement of Versailles, where Dyf had his house and studio.
