    Kim Wiggins's paintings are known for highly impasto brushwork, bold color, and dynamic surface movement. Deriving his identity from pioneer and ranching roots, Wiggins' paintings are a celebration of New Mexico's natural, cultural, and spiritual diversity.
    Among the youngest artists listed in Who's Who in American Art, Wiggins has been the subject of feature articles in Focus/Santa Fe 1990, International Fine Art Collector and Southwest Art, March 1991. His work is also included in Artists of the American West by Quarry Press; Painters of the American West, by Yale Press. He has exhibited with the National Society of American Impressionists, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Museum of New Mexico, Santa Fe, the M.H. DeYoung Museum, and is a regular participant at the Masters of the West show at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage.
    This year the Roswell Museum and Art Center honored Kim Wiggins with a one man show which is currently running from July 15 through December 3, 2006.
