This illustration was published as the endpapers for Raggedy Ann's Lucky Pennies. It was also mentioned on page 129 in Raggedy Ann and Johnny Gruelle, a Bibliography of Published Works by Patricia Hall (Pelican, 2001). This illustration is from the descendants of M. A. Donahue who reprinted and published Johnny Gruelle books after purchasing the plates and original artwork from Volland.
