Germs blends Chicano history with futuristic pop surrealism. A protégé of Gilbert "Magu" Lujan of Los Four, Zacarias creates visually rich paintings filled with hidden imagery-from eyeballs and bacon to icons like the Virgin Mary and the Dodgers. His art, exhibited at the Los Angeles Art Show and Thinkspace Gallery, explores identity through humor, mythology, and layered symbolism. Germs' world is both playful and profound, turning everyday objects into cultural totems.
