Condition Report*:
Strip-lined canvas. Faint stretcher bar marks visible horizontally at upper edge and vertically at center under raking light. Minor frame abrasion at upper edge. A repaired pinhole in the lower left quadrant. Not examined out of frame.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Retouching to aforementioned repair. A few finely applied dots and dashes of retouching to the foliage in the background at upper center, with a few additional scattered dots of retouching to the ground in the lower left quadrant. Strengthening applied to the red/orange pigments of the central female figure.
