Private collection, Walters, Oklahoma.
A copy of the book, Elmer Wachtel, a Brief Biography by Anthony Anderson, 1930 accompanies this lot.
Condition Report*:
Original canvas. No evidence of inpaint under UV light. Areas that fluoresce appear to be due to pigment. Light craquelure in the upper left quadrant (particularly along the stretcher bar). Light surface dirt. Overall in nice condition.
